Links with Industry, Research Centers and National Labs

This program sponsors faculty, post-doc, and graduate student visits to industrial facilities, research centers, and national laboratories in order to promote partnerships and continuing education. Up to $7,000 is available for visits lasting between two to twelve weeks.

Argonne and Oak Ridge National Laboratories have committed to provide additional support for individuals recommended for LINK awards who are planning visits to their facilities. Eligible travelers may qualify for stipends and will be assigned laboratory mentors to guide them toward the completion of research projects that are related to their academic goals and the mission of the laboratory.
