Pilot Funding for New Research

This program aims to stimulate and support science and engineering faculty in their exploration of novel research. The Pfund program provides an opportunity for both tenured and tenure-track faculty to enhance their research focus, explore new ideas, and keep pace with cutting-edge techniques that can enable them to become more competitive in acquiring federal dollars. Awards of up to $10,000 are available for the support of students, travel, and the purchase of scientific equipment and supplies.
