The objective of the TGEF Program is to make Louisiana’s emerging science and engineering faculty researchers more competitive at the national and international levels. This is accomplished in two ways 1) by providing eligible faculty with the opportunity to visit federal funding agency program officers to learn how to better structure their research proposal(s), and 2) by providing faculty with the opportunity to give plenary or major invited presentations at regional, national or international meetings. Emerging faculty are defined as those in a science or engineering (S&E) tenure-track, but untenured position. Faculty may receive up to $1000 to visit a funding agency program officer and up to $1,000 to give a major invited talk. To download the TGEF request for applications,
