Areas of Expertise:

Research varies from the very basic (i.e. pest management in agronomic crops). Scientists are working in over 50 approved LAES projects at the Central Station. In addition, the Central Station operates the Veterinary Research farm where scientists from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine conduct research in the area of animal health.
