Research Areas:
The Business Research Center is a member of the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER) and is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of business and economic research among the local community. The center also publishes the Southeastern Economic Outlook, a journal for the Florida parishes.

The Director of the Business Research Center is also a faculty member in the department of Economics and therefore is well trained in economic theory and research. The Director is thus able to apply the theoretical knowledge and methodological skills to the task of carrying out the center's responsibilities. In addition, the graduate assistant is proficient in various software and spreadsheet programs that are required to publish the journal.
