Research Areas:
Diversity of projects being conducted by faculty and students of Southeastern Louisiana University (and several visiting scientists) mostly focusing on ecological and environmental problems of the upper Lake Pontchartrain estuary, and its surrounding wetlands.

A field research facility located in a very low salinity upper estuary. Facility provides living quarters for researchers and immediate access to research sites. Boats are available for visits to adjacent sites.
