The mission of the U.S./China Energy and Environment Technology Center in Beijing is to: * develop a long term relationship to nurture trust and goodwill for the benefit of both the U.S. and China; * conduct binational training and education regarding technical and financial issues to promote the use and profitability of U.S. clean energy and environmental technology in China; * identify opportunities to develop profitable contracts for U.S. business, particularly small and medium size business; * support policy development in China to encourage the responsible use of coal.
