Research Areas:

The main mission is infectious disease research in nonhuman primates. Ongoing projects include AIDS, Lyme disease, leprosy, antiviral drug testing, malaria, filariasis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, bladder physiology, retrovirology, gene therapy, genetic diseases, microsporidiosis, arthritis, eye surgery and primate medicine.
